Maronite Holy Family Congregation Schools, throughout Lebanon

$7950 (15,900 total)
Tuition support for 18 students

The Congregation of the Maronite Sisters of the Holy Family was established in 1895 and the Patriarch was deeply convinced that the future relied on young women's education. So wanting to give the Lebanese youth an education based on human, civic and evangelical values, he insisted the mission of the new Congregation be directed towards the children.

The Congregation of the Maronite Sisters of the Holy Family has 32 educational centers spread all over Lebanon as follows: 12 primary schools, 7 complementary schools, 11 secondary schools, 2 technical institutes, and a university.

Last year (2016), EOL was able to support 18 students from modest backgrounds who would have been unable to pay their tuition and complete their studies. This year, an additional $7,950 was raised to allow these same children to continue their studies through grade 12 and graduate with their peers, opening the possibility for university enrollment.
