Deir AlHarf is a remote village located in Mt Lebanon, 800m above sea level. St. Joseph is the only school in this area and serves a diverse student body of 160 students. Some of these students are Syrian children living with their families in deserted homes, and are unable to pay any tuition.
The school is in a desperate need of heat. Installing a heating system will allow the school to rehabilitate its indoor spaces, such as the computer room and library. Most importantly, it will help ensure the health and comfort of the students.
The total cost of this project is $ 16,619. EOL will provide $12,050 and St. Joseph School will partner by contributing $4,569.
