Alma El Shaab, South Lebanon : Maronite Holy Family Sister’s School

desks and whiteboards

Alma el Shaab is a very remote village located on the Lebanese Israeli border. The population is mostly farmers who rely on olive and tobacco crops for an unstable income. A primary school was founded there 68 years ago and at present enrolls two hundred and fifty students.

EOL has helped this school with basic equipment and computers in the past, and they have turned to us again for help. Several classrooms are in need of furnishings such as chairs for students, tables, a closet, and a whiteboard. $7,690 will allow the school to fully furnish two classrooms.
