Our Lady of the Assumption School was established in 1939, in Ablah, Zahle district in the Bekaa region of Lebanon, and is located 70kms away from Beirut. The school serves 450 diverse students from Bekaa and the surrounding areas. The majority of the students are only able to pay partial tuition, and a hundred students do not have the means to pay tuition at all. Because of this, the school operates on a very limited budget.

The most pressing need is new desks. The majority of the funds raised will allow the school to outfit twenty one classrooms with new desks for the students. In addition, a projector in one of the classrooms will be incredibly useful for the teachers and enhance the learning of the students.
