Ablah, Bekaa : Our Lady of the Assumption School

Our Lady of the Assumption School was established in 1939 in the Ablah, Zahle district in the Bekaa region of Lebanon, 70kms away from Beirut. The school serves 450 diverse students from the Bekaa and the surrounding areas. The majority of the students are only able to pay partial tuition, and one hundred students do not have the means to pay tuition at all. Because of this, the school operates on a very limited budget.

The school has a pressing need for new desks. $9,869 will allow the school to outfit twenty-one classrooms with new desks for the students. In addition, a projector for one of the classrooms will be extremely useful for the teachers and enhance the learning of the students.
