Tables, Desks, and Chairs
Our Lady of Assumption School serves 117 students in the mountainous village of Bteghrine in the Metn region. Most of the students and teachers come from the village of Bteghrine or the neighboring villages where the people are mostly farmers (apple, pear and cherry trees growers). Many of the students are unable to pay tuition and the school struggles to provide adequate education for the many students in the region.
The school is in need of new furniture including 70 school desks for the primary section in addition to tables and chairs for the teachers.
